John Barr Contracts is a traditional joinery workshop based in Cupar, run by John Barr. With 28 years of experience in the trade, the focus is on the kind of bespoke joinery very few workshops in the area still take on.
Sash and case windows, fitted kitchens, cabinetry, timber doors and one-off bespoke joinery are all made to suit the building and built to last.

How We Work
A Workshop, Not A Showroom
We do not have a showroom and we do not pretend to be the cheapest option. What we offer is proper traditional joinery, made by hand in our Cupar workshop, designed to suit the property and built to last.
For most customers, having a real joinery workshop nearby is more useful than a showroom. The cabinetry, windows and doors are made on the premises, by the same hands that fit them.
